The organization provides pre-sales and post-sales technical support across the project lifecycle.
Role Description
The Information Security Consultant is a full-time, on-site role based in Doha, Qatar.
The role assesses, designs, and implements information security controls and frameworks across telecom, networking, and IT solutions.
The consultant advises project teams on cybersecurity, data privacy, and network security best practices.
Responsibilities
- Conduct security risk assessments and review system architectures.
- Develop and maintain information security policies and procedures.
- Support implementation and monitoring of Information Security Management Systems.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
- Provide security awareness guidance and support security incident investigations.
- Prepare clear technical and non-technical documentation for clients and management.
Qualifications
- Skills in ISMS implementation and maintenance and information security management are required.
- Cybersecurity and network security skills, including network infrastructure security and vulnerability identification, are required.
- Knowledge of data protection principles, regulatory requirements, and privacy-by-design approaches is required.
- Practical experience with ISO 27001, NIST, CIS Controls, or similar frameworks and risk assessment methodologies is required.
- A relevant bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience is required.
- Relevant professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or ISO 27001 credentials are highly beneficial.
- Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills are required.
