Responsibilities
- Inspect, test, and evaluate workplace environments for safety standards
- Perform industrial hygiene surveys (heat stress, noise, chemical exposure, etc.)
- Manage IH equipment, including maintenance, calibration, and respirator fit testing
- Participate in compliance audits and formal audits on IH programs
- Approve and verify new chemicals entering the facility
- Act as Assistant Radiation Protection Officer
- Lead implementation and auditing of safety programs
- Manage issuance and registration of toxic lips
- Participate in Plant MOC (Hazard Analysis, Change Evaluation, PSSR)
- Assist IH Specialist in developing and implementing IH management programs
Requirements
- Experience in industrial hygiene and safety support
- Knowledge of IH equipment calibration and maintenance
- Ability to conduct IH surveys and generate reports
- Familiarity with safety programs (PPE, PTW, JSA, etc.)

Industrial Hygiene and Safety Support
- Inspect, test, and evaluate workplace environments, equipment, and practices to ensure safety standards and government regulations are followed.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform and generate report for industrial hygiene surveys (Heat Stress, Noise, Chemical Exposure, LEV, Fume hoods, Lighting, Radiation, Ergonomic studies).
- Manage all IH equipment, including routine maintenance, calibration, and respirator fit testing.
- Participate in compliance audits and conduct formal audits on IH programs (Industrial radiography, MSDS, Safety Signs, Label Audits).
- Approve and verify use of new chemicals; act as Assistant Radiation Protection Officer.
- Lead implementation and auditing of safety programs (PPE Assessment, Contractor Safety Meeting, PTW, LT&T, JSA, Risk Assessment, Confined Space Permit Audit).
- Manage issuance and registration of Toxic lips and maintain records.
- Participate in Plant MOC (Hazard Analysis, Change Evaluation, PSSR).
- Assist IH Specialist in developing and implementing IH management programs.
Qualifications
- Experience in industrial hygiene and safety support.
- Knowledge of IH equipment calibration and maintenance.
- Ability to conduct IH surveys and generate reports.
- Familiarity with safety programs (PPE, PTW, JSA, etc.).
