Ics Cybersecurity Analyst

Key Responsibilities

• Manage system patching, antivirus updates, backups, and restoration for OT assets
• Monitor firewall logs and security systems to identify threats, anomalies, or unauthorized access
• Investigate, report, and escalate cybersecurity incidents as required
• Troubleshoot network performance and security issues, and resolve service requests
• Support incident response including forensics, data preservation, and breach investigations
• Prepare reports on vulnerabilities, risks, control gaps, and remediation actions
• Configure, test, and maintain cybersecurity tools and systems
• Perform hardware and software upgrades and maintain system documentation
• Maintain cybersecurity policies, procedures, and configuration records
• Provide security-related technical support to users
• Review external threat intelligence and coordinate patching of high-risk vulnerabilities
• Monitor and improve cybersecurity tools, systems, and processes
• Support cybersecurity across on-premises and virtual/cloud environments (including Hyper-V and HCI)
• Promote cybersecurity awareness across the organization
• Support internal and external audit and compliance requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, Electrical, Instrumentation, Automation, Mechatronics, Cybersecurity, Electronics, or related discipline
• Experience in a petrochemical plant
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in Oil & Gas or chemical industry with focus on ICS/OT cybersecurity (7+ years preferred)
• Strong knowledge of ICS/OT cybersecurity environments
• Experience in Oil & Gas or chemical manufacturing environments
• Knowledge of Hyper-V and Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (HCI) is an advantage
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills
• Certifications required:
• CCNA or CompTIA Network+
• CISM or IEC 62443
• CEH, CompTIA Security+, or CySA+
