- Implement and ensure personal hygiene and critical control point procedures
- Evaluate corrective actions and update staff medical records
- Conduct regular tours of back of house with Executive Chef/Chief Steward and duty engineer
- Perform weekly kitchen walk throughs to review minutes and outstanding issues
- Deliver food safety training for food handlers and conduct refresher training
- Maintain document control for checklists and verify CCP records
- Conduct food sampling and follow up on original certificates and payments
- Gather information for alleged foodborne illness incidents
- Complete internal audits and verify sickness records of food handlers
- Conduct FSMS meetings, trainings, audits, and orientation briefings monthly
Requirements
- Prior experience working in a high risk environment
- Formal qualification in occupational health and safety or commensurate experience
- Sound knowledge of Health and Safety CCP procedures
- Proven experience in worker engagement, contractor management, incident management, training, risk management, machinery safety, hazardous substances, traffic management, audit programs, and occupational hygiene
- Strong relationship building, influencing, and problem resolution skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks through good time management and organization skills
- Professional, proactive attitude with excellent interpersonal skills

Job Description
- Complete responsibility for the highest level of sanitation and hygiene standards.
- Ensure all food served to guests and employees is free of microbiological, chemical and physical contamination.
