About the Role
Capgemini is seeking a highly experienced Hydro Power Generation Application Functional Architect to lead delivery, governance, and growth of Application Management Services for a generation application portfolio.
The role is Capgemini’s primary on-site functional leader and trusted advisor for generation applications in Vancouver.
The position combines utility industry expertise with application management and stakeholder leadership across support, enhancement, modernization, and transformation initiatives.
Location and Work Model
- The role uses a hybrid work model with three days onsite in Vancouver, British Columbia.
- The successful candidate will spend time at the Capgemini office and the client location in Vancouver.
Utility Domain Leadership
- Provide functional leadership across generation operations, energy management, hydroelectric operations, generation scheduling, dispatch, and energy optimization.
- Support water resource management, hydrological forecasting, reservoir operations, water planning, and regulatory water management.
- Support dam safety, critical infrastructure management, instrumentation, risk management, and operational compliance.
