- Design and analyze hydraulic systems for commercial truck applications, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency, including pump selection, valve sizing, and circuit design.
- Develop detailed hydraulic schematics and 3D models using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks), accurately representing system components and their interconnections for manufacturing and testing.
- Conduct simulations and calculations to predict system behavior, identify potential issues (pressure drops, cavitation), and optimize designs for reliability and durability under various operating conditions.
- Perform component selection and vendor communication, considering factors such as cost, performance, and availability of hydraulic components like pumps, valves, cylinders, and hoses.
