Responsibilities
- Responsible for overall technical coordination and management during tendering phase of HVDC project
- Serve as primary contact for Customer and accountable for developing best technical solutions with tender team
- Ensure technical tender design meets deadlines and quality standards
- Coordinate and manage global schedule of tender engineering activities, ensure implementation of Engineering Processes, and oversee technical coordination across work packages
- Provide technical solutions selected (safe, reliable, cost effective, easy to install and operate) in line with customer expectations, delivering necessary documentation per tender schedule
- Estimate project engineering budget and develop project execution Engineering design strategy in collaboration with Regional Technical Tendering Leader, Regional Engineering Leader, and Project Engineering Managers
- Manage project from execution phase (Order to Remittance), Functional Engineering Leaders (Control, Platform, Layout/Design leaders)
- Coordinate Project Engineers who have led similar projects during execution stage to leverage
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related fields
- Minimum 10 years experience in HVDC system, FACTS, industrial, renewable
- Experience in HVDC/Grid Solution Integration industry is mandatory
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Ability and willingness to travel worldwide up to 20% or more of the time
- Mastering of engineering processes such as Civil work, Plant Engineering, Control & Protection hardware, System & Performance studies, or Electrical design
- Experience with relevant standards and codes including IEC 62351, IEEE 1588, IEEE 802, IEEE 1402, IEC 62501, NERC CIP
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to build relationships, influence others, and present complex messages

Job Description Summary
- The Tender Engineering Manager is responsible for leading the overall technical coordination and management during the tender phase of large or complex projects.
- These projects may involve HVDC technology on offshore platforms and require collaboration with multiple stakeholders worldwide.
- The Tender Engineering Manager acts as a HVDC Technical Bid Leader and primary technical point of contact with the customer.
- Ensures all technical aspects of the tender are delivered on time, within budget, and in alignment with customer requirements.
- Leads development of optimal technical solutions and manages technical risks and opportunities throughout the tender process.
