About the Role
Fletcher Piccolo Associates DMCC is seeking an experienced HVAC Project Engineer to lead design coordination, supervise installation and commissioning of HVAC systems, and ensure compliance with project requirements and regulations.

Responsibilities
- Review HVAC design drawings, calculations, specifications, and BOQs for compliance
- Lead HVAC design coordination, cooling load calculations, equipment selection, and shop drawing preparation/review
- Supervise installation, testing, balancing, and commissioning of HVAC systems
- Coordinate with consultants, clients, authorities, and other disciplines
- Prepare and review material submittals, method statements, ITPs, and technical documentation
- Lead site teams to ensure quality, safety, productivity, and compliance with schedules
- Monitor progress, manpower, and material requirements to achieve milestones
- Verify installations for compliance with ASHRAE, SMACNA, NFPA, and local requirements
- Participate in technical meetings and support design changes, variation orders, and value engineering
- Lead preparation of as built drawings, O&M manuals, T&C records, and handover documents
- Ensure all HVAC works comply with HSE requirements and company procedures
Requirements
- Experience in HVAC design, installation, and commissioning
- Knowledge of ASHRAE, SMACNA, NFPA, and local authority requirements
- Expertise in district cooling plant installation and commissioning (preferred)
- Ability to lead site teams and coordinate with consultants and clients

Duties & Responsibilities
- Review HVAC design drawings, calculations, specifications, and BOQs to ensure compliance with project requirements and authority regulations.
- Lead HVAC design coordination, cooling load calculations, equipment selection, and preparation/review of shop drawings in coordination with the drafting team.
- Supervise installation, testing, balancing, and commissioning of HVAC systems including chillers, pumps, AHUs, FAHUs, FCUs, ductwork, piping, and associated equipment.
- Expertise in district cooling plant installation and commissioning will be considered an added advantage.
- Coordinate with consultants, clients, authorities, and other disciplines to resolve technical and execution related issues.
- Prepare and review material submittals, method statements, ITPs, and technical documentation.
- Lead site teams to ensure quality, safety, productivity, and compliance with project schedules.
- Monitor progress, manpower, and material requirements to achieve project milestones.
- Verify installations for compliance with ASHRAE, SMACNA, NFPA, local authority requirements, and project specifications.
- Participate in technical and coordination meetings and provide support for design changes, variation orders, and value engineering proposals.
- Lead preparation of as built drawings, O&M manuals, testing & commissioning records, and final handover documents.
- Ensure all HVAC works are executed in accordance with approved HSE requirements and company procedures.
