Role Overview
The employer is seeking an experienced Senior HVAC Engineer for its MEP contracting team in the UAE.
The role covers HVAC site execution, coordination, technical delivery, installation, testing, commissioning, and handover across commercial and residential projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of chilled water, DX, ventilation, and smoke management systems.
- Review drawings, specifications, calculations, and method statements for compliance with project and authority requirements.
- Coordinate with consultants, main contractors, subcontractors, and internal site teams.
- Monitor site progress, manpower, materials, timelines, quality, and cost targets.
- Resolve technical issues, design discrepancies, and site coordination challenges.
- Ensure compliance with QHSE standards, approved method statements, and company procedures.
- Manage material submittals, technical approvals, inspections, and project documentation.
- Support planning, progress reporting, testing and commissioning, and project close-out documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 7–10 years of relevant HVAC experience in UAE-based MEP contracting projects.
