Q-ForestLab is seeking a highly organized, people-focused, and detail-oriented Human Resources Generalist.
The role supports HR functions across the employee lifecycle and works with employees, managers, and leadership teams.

Core HR Responsibilities
- Support recruitment activities including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and offer coordination.
- Coordinate onboarding, orientation, documentation, and offboarding processes.
- Maintain employee records, HR databases, and personnel files.
- Provide guidance on HR policies, procedures, benefits, and workplace practices.
- Support employee relations matters, investigations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary processes.
- Assist with probation reviews, performance evaluations, and development plans.
Administration and Payroll
- Coordinate leave, attendance, working-hours, and other employee administration processes.
- Support payroll preparation with employee information, attendance data, and HR changes.
- Assist with compensation, benefits, incentives, and other HR programs.
- Monitor employee documentation, contracts, certifications, and compliance requirements.
Policies and Compliance
- Develop and maintain HR policies, procedures, forms, templates, and employee communications.
- Ensure HR practices comply with applicable employment legislation, company policies, and internal controls.
- Maintain confidentiality and protect sensitive employee and company information.
- Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, employee experience, and operational efficiency.
Engagement and Development
- Support employee engagement initiatives, surveys, recognition programs, and company events.
- Coordinate training, professional development, and learning activities.
- Assist with organizational development, workforce planning, and continuous HR improvement initiatives.
- Partner with department managers to understand workforce requirements and provide HR support.
Reporting
- Prepare HR reports, workforce data, headcount reports, and management dashboards.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in Human Resources, HR Generalist, HR Operations, People Operations, or a related role.
- Strong understanding of recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, HR administration, and performance management.
- Good knowledge of employment policies, HR procedures, and workplace practices.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, stakeholder management, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information professionally.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple HR activities and deadlines.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with managers and HR teams.
- Good English communication skills.
Systems and Tools
- Experience with HRIS, payroll systems, applicant tracking systems, or employee management platforms is an advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook is required.
Preferred Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Management, or a related field is preferred.
- CIPD, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or an equivalent HR certification is an advantage.
- Additional languages are an advantage.
