Responsibilities
- Develop HSEQ strategy for Chemical fleet and convert into plans and processes
- Ensure effective cascading of functional strategy into department business plans
- Manage identification of opportunities for continuous improvement
- Ensure all department reports are prepared timely and accurately
- Manage effective achievement of assigned objectives through leadership of the department
- Develop and recommend department budget and monitor financial performance
- Oversee HSEQ management system for Chemical fleet and ensure standards for certifications
- Carry out periodic compliance reviews (HSEQ inspections/audits) in Chemical fleet
- Maintain Bahri's environment management program specific to Chemical fleet
- Oversee preparation and submission of HSEQ reports for Chemical fleet
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chief Engineer, or Master Mariner certificate or equivalent
- Master's degree in business management or equivalent is preferred
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience
- Professional certifications: Accident/Incident Investigation, Internal Auditors IMS course (9001/14001/45001/50001), Lead Auditor ISM/ISPS/MLC course, Cyber security, DPA Course, ECDIS Generic IMO 1.27 & media awareness
- Certification in NEBOSH/ISO series 9 standards or equivalent is preferred

Job Purpose

- Carry out periodic compliance reviews (HSEQ inspections/audits) in Chemical fleet
- Maintain Bahri's environment management program specific to Chemical fleet
- Oversee the preparation and submission of the HSEQ reports for Chemical fleet
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chief Engineer, or Master Mariner certificate or equivalent
