Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor the company's Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures
- Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits to ensure compliance with UAE regulations and company standards
- Identify workplace hazards and recommend corrective and preventive actions
- Prepare and maintain HSE documentation, reports, incident logs, and risk assessments
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and submit detailed reports with corrective action plans
- Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, and awareness training for employees and subcontractors
- Ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and enforce site safety requirements
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to maintain a safe working environment
- Monitor lifting operations, work at height, excavation activities, and other high risk construction activities
- Liaise with regulatory authorities and assist during inspections and audits
- Promote a positive safety culture and encourage employee participation in HSE initiatives
Requirements
- Experience in implementing HSE policies and procedures
