About the Role

Responsibilities
- Monitor and ensure site activities are carried out safely in adherence to Govt regulations and OSHAD.
- Provide HSE support and guidance to construction and project team.
- Support and promote 'Zero Accidents' philosophy.
- Review Contractors HSE Plan, procedures and any HSE related documents.
- Attend weekly progress/HSE meetings and contractors toolbox talks.
- Take part in all accident/incident/near miss investigations.
- Daily safety walk down at site and coordinate with HSE team.
- Ensure Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) is implemented prior to start on complex or high risk work.
- Perform site inspections focusing on housekeeping, hygiene, fire prevention, etc.
- Conduct Health and Safety induction training to all personnel and visitors.

- Diploma/Degree in any discipline or High school diploma
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply

Job Description
- Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented HSE Engineer (UAE Nationals) to join our team.
- In this role you will provide HSE support and guidance to construction and project team.
What You'll Be Doing
- Monitor and ensure site activities are carried out safely in adherence to Govt regulations and OSHAD.
- Provide HSE support and guidance to construction and project team.
- Support and promote 'Zero Accidents' philosophy.
- Ensure that all construction activities are carried out in a safe manner.
- Review Contractors HSE Plan, procedures and any HSE related documents.
- Liaise with construction engineers, and Contractors HSE representatives on a daily basis.
- Attend weekly progress/HSE meetings/attended contractors toolbox talks.
- Take part in all accident/incident/near miss investigations.
- Monitors work practices utilized by Contractors to ascertain compliance.
- Daily safety walk down at site and coordinate with HSE team.
- Implementation of any safety related procedures or safety awareness campaigns.
- Ensure that Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) is implemented prior to start on complex or high risk work.
What Required Skills You'll Bring
- Diploma/ Degree in any discipline or High school diploma.

- ISO 45001 Lead Auditor Accreditation
- With recognized Health and Safety education, certifications / license or training in UAE (e.g. OSHAD Qudorat/ADOSH SF, First Aid, Fire Safety, etc)
- Able to attend physical interviews in Abu Dhabi.
- Preferably with relevant experience working in an engineering consulting firm.
- Preferably with experience the in UAE and with a driving license
