Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Officer to support our Facility Management operations.
The successful candidate will ensure that all facilities are managed in compliance with HSE standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
This role focuses on maintaining safe, efficient, and sustainable environments across buildings, utilities, and support services.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor HSE policies tailored to facility management operations.
- Conduct risk assessments and safety audits for buildings, equipment, and maintenance activities.
- Deliver HSE inductions and training sessions for facility staff, contractors, and service providers.
- Investigate facility-related incidents (e.g., fire alarms, equipment failures, workplace accidents), prepare reports, and recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, company standards, and client-specific HSE requirements.
- Oversee emergency preparedness plans, including fire safety drills, evacuation procedures, and first-aid readiness.
- Collaborate with maintenance, housekeeping, and security teams to promote a strong safety culture.
- Submit required documentation and reports to management and regulatory authorities.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives in facility safety, sustainability, and environmental performance.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Certificate in HSE (IOSH Managing Safely, NEBOSH IGC, or equivalent).
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in HSE roles, preferably within facility management or building operations.
- Strong knowledge of facility-related HSE standards (fire safety, occupational health, waste management, hazard control).
- Proven ability to manage and implement safety procedures across diverse facility services.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
