Overview
Mepcontracting2017 is seeking an HSE Officer to ensure the safety of all personnel and compliance with safety regulations.
The role involves liaising between site personnel and office management, conducting toolbox talks, and submitting periodic safety reports.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the safety of all personnel deployed by the company.
- Be aware of all safety regulations of the country in general and projects in particular.
- Liaise effectively between site personnel and office management to ensure that all safety requirements are in order.
- Give continuous guidance to the workforce on the importance of maintaining safety standards.
- Understand the safety procedures required for the projects based on their nature and communicate effectively with the personnel at sites.
- Attend safety meetings regularly as directed by the main contractor based on project specifications.
- Submit periodic reports on safety to the management with adequate mention of shortages and recommendations for improvement.
- Ensure that all site personnel are in possession of personal protection equipment.
- Conduct regular toolbox talks with chargehands/foremen/supervisors on sites.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of UAE experience in the contracting field.
