Role Overview
- We are seeking an experienced HSE Manager to lead and strengthen Health, Safety, and Environmental performance across large scale operations/projects within the GCC region.
- The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership capability, strategic HSE planning expertise, and hands on experience implementing safety management systems across diverse industrial environments.
- The role requires driving a proactive safety culture while ensuring operational excellence and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve HSE policies, procedures, standards, and management systems.
- Lead organization wide HSE strategy aligned with business objectives and international standards.
- Ensure compliance with applicable local regulations, client requirements, and global HSE frameworks.
- Conduct risk assessments, hazard identification, and implementation of mitigation measures.
- Establish and monitor HSE KPIs, dashboards, and performance reporting.
- Lead incident, accident, and near miss investigations using root cause analysis methodologies.
- Drive preventive and corrective action programs and monitor closure effectiveness.
- Conduct regular HSE audits, inspections, compliance reviews, and management walkthroughs.
- Oversee contractor and subcontractor HSE performance management.
- Manage Permit to Work (PTW), emergency preparedness, crisis response, and business continuity planning.
- Deliver HSE awareness programs, safety campaigns, toolbox talks, and leadership engagement initiatives.
- Promote behavioral safety and develop a strong safety culture across multicultural workforces.
Additional Responsibilities
- Coordinate with operations, engineering, project, quality, and management teams to ensure safe execution of activities.
- Ensure environmental controls, sustainability practices, and waste management requirements are implemented.
- Support certifications and compliance initiatives related to management systems and ESG objectives.
