HSE Inspector / Senior

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct daily site safety inspections and identify unsafe acts and conditions.
• Ensure compliance with HSE policies, procedures, and project safety requirements.
• Monitor construction activities including excavation, lifting operations, scaffolding, work at height, confined space entry, and hot work activities.
• Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings for workers and subcontractors.
• Verify that all personnel are using proper PPE and following site safety rules.
• Prepare HSE inspection reports and maintain safety records/documentation.
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses and support corrective action implementation.
• Coordinate with site teams to close safety observations and non-conformities.
• Ensure emergency response procedures and firefighting equipment are available and functional.
• Participate in safety meetings with project management and clients.
• Monitor environmental compliance including waste management and housekeeping standards.
• Support HSE audits conducted by clients or regulatory authorities.
• Promote safety awareness and continuous improvement across the project site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or related field.
• NEBOSH IGC certification is mandatory.
• Additional safety certifications such as OSHA, IOSH, or First Aid are preferred.
• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi Arabia HSE regulations and international safety standards.
• Experience in infrastructure, buildings, or industrial projects is preferred.
