We are looking for a qualified HSE Engineer to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations across our projects in the UAE.
The candidate will be responsible for implementing safety policies, conducting risk assessments, and promoting a safe working environment on-site.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor HSE policies and procedures in line with UAE regulations
- Conduct risk assessments, hazard identification, and safety inspections
- Ensure compliance with local authority requirements (e.g., OSHAD, ADNOC, DM regulations)
- Monitor site safety practices and enforce HSE standards
- Conduct toolbox talks, safety training, and awareness programs
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, and prepare reports
- Maintain HSE documentation, reports, and records
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and site teams
- Ensure proper use of PPE and safety equipment
- Conduct emergency drills and preparedness plans
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field
- Minimum 3–7 years of HSE experience (UAE experience preferred)
- Certifications:
- NEBOSH IGC (mandatory or preferred)
- IOSH / OSHA certifications are an advantage
- Strong knowledge of UAE HSE regulations and standards
- Strong understanding of risk management and safety procedures
- Excellent communication and training skills
- Attention to detail and reporting accuracy
- Ability to work under pressure and ensure compliance on-site
- Problem-solving and incident investigation skills
