About the Role
Progressive is hiring an HSE Coordinator for oil & gas well testing, drilling, and workover operations in Abu Dhabi. The role involves monitoring HSE compliance, conducting audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations.

Responsibilities
- Monitor and enforce HSE compliance across well testing, drilling, and workover operations
- Ensure adherence to company, client, and regulatory safety standards, including SAWCOD requirements
- Conduct site safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments (JSA / HAZID / HAZOP)
- Support incident prevention by identifying hazards and implementing corrective actions
- Lead toolbox talks, safety briefings, and HSE inductions onsite
- Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe acts; prepare detailed reports
- Coordinate with operations teams to ensure safe execution of all field activities
- Maintain accurate HSE documentation and reporting
Requirements
- 6+ years of HSE experience within oil & gas (well testing, drilling, or workover environments preferred)
- NEBOSH or equivalent HSE certification (mandatory)
- Proven experience working with SAWCOD compliance systems (strong advantage)
- Strong understanding of international HSE standards and best practices
- Field based experience in high risk operational environments
- Ability to operate independently and enforce compliance in remote locations
