Role Overview

  • This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced HSE Admin with a proven track record in understanding of the complexities involved in large scale Gas Processing projects to meet objectives for a high profile client.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

  • Provide timely advice and guidance on all matters pertaining to Health, Safety and the Environment with respect to Legislation, Company Polices and Client requirements.
  • Support a team of Engineer to assist in the delivery of Wood EPCM projects.
  • Provide visibility and interface of the HSE function.
  • Work in collaboration with other members of the team and the wider business to facilitate high performance delivery through successful implementation of processes and systems.
  • Contribute to the development of the HSE Assurance Plan to deliver high risk audits across the area or Division of responsibility.
  • Advise and assist site management in the preparation of Safety & Environmental Plans, Risk Assessments and method statements for various projects.
  • Work with on site management in the development, delivery, implementation and maintenance of Business Unit specific HSE policies and procedures.
  • Prepare safety and environmental reports as required.
  • Conduct safety and environmental audits and inspections in accordance with the Integrated Management system.
  • Prepare and deliver training courses / toolbox talks to ensure full knowledge of H&S requirements and techniques.
  • Conduct loss event investigations and prepare reports for internal / external purposes.

Expected Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related.
  • 6 yrs + experience in HSE.
  • A solid understanding of organizational change.
  • Excellent active listening skills.
  • Worked exclusively at site location.
  • Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences.
  • Ability to engage with senior leadership.
  • Excellent written communication and presentation skills.
  • Resilient with ability to work with challenging stakeholders who are often averse to change.
  • Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with others.
  • Ability to facilitate workshops, documenting the future state business processes and change impacts.
