About the Role

Responsibilities
- Provide timely advice on HSE matters regarding legislation, company policies, and client requirements
- Support a team of engineers in delivering Wood EPCM projects
- Contribute to the development of the HSE Assurance Plan and conduct high risk audits
- Prepare safety and environmental reports
- Conduct safety and environmental audits and inspections
- Prepare and deliver training courses and toolbox talks
- Conduct loss event investigations and prepare reports
- Liaise with Health & Safety stewards to ensure workforce consultation and participation
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field
- 6+ years of experience in HSE
- Experience working at site locations
- Excellent active listening and communication skills
- Ability to engage with senior leadership
- Resilient and able to work with challenging stakeholders

Key Accountabilities And Responsibilities
- Provide timely advice on HSE matters
- Support a team of engineers
- Provide visibility and interface of the HSE function
- Contribute to HSE Assurance Plan
- Advise site management on Safety & Environmental Plans
- Work with site management on HSE policies
- Prepare safety and environmental reports
- Conduct safety and environmental audits
- Prepare and deliver training courses
- Report HSE activities to Line Management
- Conduct loss event investigations
- Provide HSE advice to site management
Expected
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related
- 6 yrs + experience in HSE
- Solid understanding of organizational change
- Excellent active listening skills
- Worked exclusively at site location
- Ability to clearly articulate messages
- Ability to engage with senior leadership
- Excellent written communication and presentation skills
