Responsibilities
- Provide timely advice and guidance on Health, Safety and Environment matters.
- Support a team of engineers in delivery of Wood EPCM projects.
- Contribute to development of HSE Assurance Plan and deliver high risk audits.
- Advise site management on Safety & Environmental Plans, Risk Assessments and method statements.
- Develop, deliver, implement and maintain Business Unit specific HSE policies and procedures.
- Prepare safety and environmental reports.
- Conduct safety and environmental audits and inspections.
- Prepare and deliver training courses / toolbox talks.
- Conduct loss event investigations and prepare reports.
- Provide HSE advice and direction to on site management, staff and contractors.
- Assist site management in periodic preparation and presentation of seminars/training.
- Drive behavioural culture change programs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
- 6+ years of experience in HSE.
- Solid understanding of organizational change.
- Excellent active listening skills.
- Worked exclusively at site location.
- Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences.
- Ability to engage with senior leadership.
- Excellent written communication and presentation skills.
- Resilient with ability to work with challenging stakeholders.
- Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively.
- Ability to facilitate workshops and document future state processes.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
