Responsibilities
- Provide timely advice and guidance on all matters pertaining to Health, Safety and the Environment
- Support a team of Engineers to assist in the delivery of Wood EPCM projects
- Contribute to the development of the HSE Assurance Plan to deliver high risk audits
- Advise and assist site management in the preparation of Safety & Environmental Plans, Risk Assessments and method statements
- Work with on site management in the development, delivery, implementation and maintenance of HSE policies and procedures
- Prepare safety and environmental reports as required
- Conduct safety and environmental audits and inspections in accordance with the Integrated Management system
- Prepare and deliver training courses / toolbox talks
- Report to Line Management of HSE activities
- Conduct loss event investigations and prepare reports
- Provide HSE advice and direction to on site management, staff and contractors
- Assist site management in periodic preparation and presentation of seminars/training
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field
- 6+ years experience in HSE
- A solid understanding of organizational change
- Excellent active listening skills
- Worked exclusively at site location
- Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences
- Ability to engage with senior leadership
- Excellent written communication and presentation skills
- Resilient with ability to work with challenging stakeholders
- Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively
- Ability to facilitate workshops and document future state business processes

The Role
- Exciting opportunity for an experienced HSE Admin with a proven track record in large scale Gas Processing projects.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
- Provide timely advice and guidance on all HSE matters regarding Legislation, Company Policies and Client requirements.
- Support a team of Engineers to assist in the delivery of Wood EPCM projects.
- Provide visibility and interface of the HSE function.
- Contribute to the development of the HSE Assurance Plan to deliver high risk audits.
- Advise and assist site management in the preparation of Safety & Environmental Plans, Risk Assessments and method statements.
- Work with on site management in the development, delivery, implementation and maintenance of HSE policies and procedures.
- Prepare safety and environmental reports as required.
- Conduct safety and environmental audits and inspections in accordance with the Integrated Management system.
- Prepare and deliver training courses / toolbox talks.
