- Install, configure, and manage HPC clusters throughout their lifecycle
- Provision, maintain, and support compute nodes
- Administer and manage job scheduling and workload management systems (e.g., Slurm, PBS, LSF, Bright Cluster Manager)
- Support users by troubleshooting job failures, resolving performance issues, and providing HPC best practices
- Perform Linux operating system administration
- Monitor system health, performance, and resource utilization
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues in HPC compute environments
- Manage parallel file systems such as BeeGFS
- Configure and support high speed interconnects, including InfiniBand and Ethernet tuning
- Manage software environments, including modules, libraries, compilers, and containers
- Perform performance tuning and optimization of HPC workloads
- Implement security hardening and support compliance requirements for HPC environments
Requirements
- Experience with HPC cluster installation, configuration, and lifecycle management
- Hands on experience with job scheduling tools such as Slurm, PBS, LSF, or Bright Cluster Manager
- Strong Linux system administration experience
- Experience managing parallel file systems such as BeeGFS
- Experience configuring and supporting InfiniBand and Ethernet networking
- Experience implementing security hardening and supporting compliance
- Experience performing cluster upgrades, patching, and scalability planning
- Experience managing LDAP, SSH keys, and user access permissions
- Experience supporting backup, recovery, disaster recovery, and data management
- 6 years of experience in High Performance Computing (Preferred)

About the Role
- The HPC System Administrator is responsible for the installation, configuration, administration, maintenance, and optimization of High Performance Computing (HPC) environments.
- The role focuses on ensuring the availability, performance, security, and scalability of HPC clusters while supporting users, managing compute resources, and maintaining the underlying Linux infrastructure, storage, networking, and software environments.

Preferred Certifications
- Linux Administration Certification (RHCSA, RHCE, or equivalent)
- HPC Administration or Cluster Management Certification
- Slurm Administration Certification
- Linux Foundation Certification
- InfiniBand or High Speed Networking Certification
Pay
- AED 20,000.00 AED 25,000.00 per month
