Position Overview
Houseman role within the Rooms and Housekeeping department at The Lana, Dorchester Collection Dubai.
The position supports high standards of housekeeping, guest service, linen handling, and hotel operations.
What You Will Do
- Sort, count, tag, and dispatch soiled linen to the laundry.
- Deliver guest request items, extra beds, baby cots, pillows, and other requested amenities.
- Count and distribute clean linen to floors and issue food and beverage linen.
- Assist laundry, uniform room, housekeeping floors, and room setup activities.
- Action guest calls and requests according to hotel standards.
- Coordinate linen with pool, gym, and spa teams and maintain related paperwork.
- Complete inventories of linen, amenities, uniforms, chemicals, and operating supplies.
- Track shortages, damage, stains, discarded items, and outstanding linen.
- Keep corridors and pantry areas clean, tidy, and stocked.
- Log, store, and hand over lost and found items according to policy.
What You Will Bring
- High school education is required.
- At least one year of experience in a similar position in a luxury five-star brand is required.
- Experience working for luxury hotels is required.
