Job Purpose
Develop and deliver practical and theoretical training for housekeeping and cleaning employees.
Ensure employees gain technical knowledge, practical cleaning skills, safety awareness and motivation to perform effectively.
The role requires cleaning operations and training experience in a shopping mall or airport environment.
Training Planning and Development
- Identify training needs through job analysis, employee assessments and consultation with Operations, HR and employee welfare teams.
- Design training programmes and prepare annual training plans, schedules and budgets.
- Develop cross-training programmes and remain current on professional cleaning and workplace training practices.
- Complete annual assessments in accordance with BICSc standards.
Training Delivery
- Deliver induction, classroom, practical, online, video-based and blended-learning sessions.
- Demonstrate cleaning methods, machinery, tools, chemicals and safety procedures.
- Train employees on housekeeping standards, hygiene, waste management, schedules and customer-service expectations.
- Conduct assessments, monitor trainee progress, prepare learning plans and deliver refresher or corrective training.
