Job Purpose
Deliver theoretical and practical training to civil technicians and tradespeople.
The trainer must have previous experience as a Civil Supervisor, Site Supervisor, General Foreman, or Civil Foreman within a construction company.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct theoretical and hands-on training and develop programs based on operational and competency requirements.
- Demonstrate construction methods, materials, tools, and equipment, and deliver training across civil finishing and structural trades.
- Identify skill gaps and conduct refresher and upskilling programs.
- Train employees on drawings, specifications, measurements, material handling, and site execution practices.
- Conduct trade tests, practical assessments, and competency evaluations while maintaining related records.
- Prepare training materials and assessment checklists, coordinate with Operations, HSE, and Training teams, and maintain safety and quality compliance.
Mandatory Requirements
- At least 8 years of hands-on civil construction experience.
- Previous experience as a Civil Supervisor, Site Supervisor, General Foreman, or Civil Foreman in a construction company.
- Practical experience in masonry, blockwork, plastering, concrete, tiling, waterproofing, and finishing works.
- Experience supervising civil technicians and tradespeople and conducting demonstrations, toolbox talks, coaching, and trade assessments.
