As a Housekeeping Supervisor , you’re not just ensuring the upkeep and cleanliness of the hotel – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.
Responsibilities
- Here's what you'll do during a typical day:
- Supervise the housekeeping team: Train, schedule, and oversee team members to ensure cleanliness and quality standards in guest rooms
- Conduct room and area inspections: Perform routine checks of checkout rooms, spot inspections of occupied rooms, and review service areas, storage, and corridors to ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards are met
- Coordinate maintenance needs: Report and promptly follow up on any maintenance issues or facility concerns
- Oversee special projects: Schedule and supervise periodic deep cleaning and special housekeeping initiatives
- Manage inventory and equipment: Maintain stock levels and ensure proper maintenance of housekeeping equipment
- Delight our guests: Ensure excellent service, including VIP and special guest requests

Housekeeping Supervisor – Saudi National Only
Education & Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent as a minimum requirement.
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Additional training or certifications in Housekeeping, Hospitality, Hygiene, or Health & Safety are an advantage.
Experience
Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience in Housekeeping or Hospitality.
Previous supervisory or team-lead experience is preferred.
Previous experience in a 4- or 5-star hotel is an advantage.
Required Skills
- Good command of English, both written and spoken.
- Strong leadership and team-management skills.
- Ability to assign tasks, monitor staff performance, and ensure compliance with hotel standards.
- Good knowledge of housekeeping operations, room cleaning standards, and public-area cleanliness.
- Ability to conduct room and public-area inspections and follow up on corrective actions.
- Knowledge of Lost & Found procedures and guest service standards.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safe handling procedures.
- Good understanding of Health, Safety & Hygiene standards.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and in shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- Basic computer skills; experience with PMS or housekeeping systems is an advantage.
