Job Description

  • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of Housekeeping Attendants and assign work schedules effectively.
  • Issue room keys, cleaning supplies, and equipment to Housekeeping Attendants while ensuring proper control procedures are followed.
  • Attend daily operational briefings and communicate priorities, VIP arrivals, special requests, and operational updates to the team.
  • Monitor room status, including VIP arrivals, Do Not Disturb (DND), Sleep Out, Double Locked, and vacant rooms, ensuring appropriate follow up actions.
  • Verify room check outs before releasing rooms as vacant in the system.
  • Respond promptly to guest requests and ensure service recovery whenever required.
  • Inspect guest rooms, corridors, public areas, service pantries, and stairwells to ensure they meet brand cleanliness, safety, and presentation standards.
  • Ensure all guest room amenities, linen, and supplies are replenished according to hotel standards.
  • Identify and report maintenance defects, safety hazards, and repair requirements immediately, ensuring timely follow up.
  • Supervise the cleanliness and maintenance of housekeeping equipment, machines, trolleys, and storage areas.
  • Conduct regular quality inspections using departmental checklists and implement corrective actions where necessary.
  • Assist in inventory control and ensure proper handling and storage of housekeeping supplies, chemicals, linen, and equipment.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years in the same position in a 4/5 star hotel.
  • Good command of English Language (Written & Spoken).
  • Physically fit (Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and lift for extended periods).
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work efficiently and independently.
