About the location
- Basic Function:
- To ensure the cleaning and supplying of guest units and the comfort of all guests as set by the procedures and standards. This is an entry level position in the Housekeeping & Laundry Department.
Major Responsibilities
- General
- Executes all tasks assigned by his/her superiors
- Demonstrates high degree of standards awareness ; promotes teamwork and acts as a role model
- Attends all scheduled training sessions
- Displays warmth, care and genuine enthusiasm when dealing with guests and internal customers; lives the Golden Rule
- Departmental
- Cleans and stocks guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors and public areas as assigned and in accordance with hotel standards.
- Stocks and maintains the linen closet in a clean, neat and orderly fashion.
- Provides genuine hospitality and recognition in the work area. Promotes hotel services and products.
- Possesses a high degree of product knowledge and relevant technical skills. Keeps abreast of events in the hotel.
