Housekeeping Attendant

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing to ensure a clean and presentable environment for our members and visitors
• Ensure that all allocated areas are cleaned according to established standards
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance activities, documenting any deficiencies or needs for repairs, and promptly notifying management
• Carry out heavy cleaning tasks and special projects as assigned, ensuring that they are completed efficiently and effectively
• Organize and maintain supply rooms, ensuring that cleaning supplies and equipment are properly stored and readily available when needed
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including the proper handling and disposal of cleaning chemicals and waste materials
• Assist members and visitors with any inquiries or requests in a polite and professional manner, providing excellent customer service
• Collaborate with other staff members to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the club
• Perform any other related duties as required by the management team

Requirements

• Previous experience in cleaning or housekeeping is preferred
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently and efficiently
• Excellent organizational skills to maintain cleanliness and orderliness in multiple areas
• Basic knowledge of cleaning techniques and equipment
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with members and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
• Ability to write and read in English in order to report work-related issues
• Flexibility to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required
