Role Overview

The Shift Supervisor manages staff and oversees attraction floor operations during an assigned shift.

The role ensures smooth and efficient operations, high guest service standards, prompt issue resolution, and compliance with SEVEN policies.

Staff Supervision and Management

  • Lead and manage the team during the assigned shift.
  • Assign tasks according to operational needs to maintain coverage and service delivery.
  • Provide on-the-spot training, guidance, and support to staff.

Operational Oversight

  • Monitor guest services, equipment maintenance, and safety activities on the floor.
  • Ensure the attraction is clean, well-maintained, and fully operational during the shift.
  • Address operational issues and guest concerns promptly, escalating to the Attractions Manager when necessary.

Guest Service

  • Ensure guests receive high-quality service and a positive, memorable experience.
  • Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally.
  • Promote guest service excellence by leading by example and encouraging staff to exceed expectations.

Safety and Compliance

  • Enforce safety protocols and ensure staff and guests follow SEVEN safety standards and procedures.
  • Conduct regular equipment and facility checks to identify hazards and maintenance needs.
  • Ensure shift activities comply with local regulations and internal policies.

Reporting and Documentation

  • Maintain accurate records of shift activities, staff attendance, guest interactions, incidents, and operational issues.
  • Prepare shift reports for the Attractions Manager with outcomes, challenges, and recommendations.
  • Complete and submit documentation accurately and on time.

Minimum Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Additional qualifications in hospitality or management are a plus.
  • Certification in hospitality management or a related field is a plus.
  • The role requires 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a guest-facing environment, preferably in entertainment or hospitality.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills are required.
  • A proven record of excellent guest service and effective guest interaction management is required.
