The Hotel General Manager is a part-time, remote role responsible for overseeing overall hotel operations.
The role supports guest satisfaction, efficient day-to-day management, and the organization's broader mission.
Responsibilities
- Oversee hotel operations and maintain efficient day-to-day management practices.
- Supervise staff performance and coordinate customer service activities.
- Manage reservations and guest relations in line with organizational values.
- Monitor budgets, support financial planning, and collaborate on cost control and revenue strategies.
- Oversee food and beverage service standards with on-site personnel and partners.
- Ensure quality, safety, and service consistency across food and beverage operations.
- Report on operational metrics, implement process improvements, and communicate with stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Strong general management and business management skills are required.
- Excellent customer service skills are required for positive guest experiences and concern resolution.
- Solid budgeting skills are required for financial performance, cost control, and resource allocation.
- Knowledge of food and beverage operations is required.
- Hospitality or hotel management experience, hotel management software proficiency, communication, leadership, and independent remote work capacity are beneficial.
- A relevant diploma or degree and prior supervisory or management experience are preferred.
