Role Description
The Chief Financial Officer is a part-time, remote role overseeing the financial activities of Pak Palestine Forum and its Save Gaza Campaign initiatives.
The role supports organizational sustainability, impact, transparency, and accountability through financial leadership and advice.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage budgets, monitor cash flow, and prepare accurate financial statements and reports.
- Review expenditures, advise on resource allocation, maintain internal controls, and ensure financial compliance.
- Support strategic decision-making, manage financial risk, and provide clear financial insights.
- Set up and maintain financial processes and systems appropriate for a civil society organization.
Qualifications
- Strong finance and financial planning skills, including budgeting, cash flow management, and long-term financial strategy.
- Proficiency in preparing and analyzing financial statements and knowledge of financial reporting standards.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable recommendations.
- Nonprofit or civil society financial management experience, including grant or donor fund oversight, is highly beneficial.
- A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is required.
- A CA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent experience is advantageous.
Work Arrangement
- The role is explicitly part-time and remote.
- The CFO must be comfortable managing part-time responsibilities effectively.
