About the Employer

Responsibilities

• Ensure the restaurant tabletop setup meets opening requirements.
• Ensure tabletop items are clean and in good repair.
• Arrange the restaurant seating plan according to the reservation book and manager requirements.
• Clean chair and sofa cushions.
• Set up the hostess desk according to hotel standards.
• Greet guests in a friendly and courteous manner and seat them according to hotel standards.
• Assist with service as required by the Restaurant Manager.
• Handle telephone bookings and inquiries according to hotel standards.
• Keep managers informed of guest comments and complaints.
• During closing, collect and clean tabletop items according to hotel standards.
• Keep menus, drinks lists, and guest collateral clean and undamaged and assist with guest history records.
• Attend meetings, briefings, and training sessions and maintain required grooming and hygiene standards.

Candidate Expectations

• Previous experience in the same role in a luxury hotel is preferred, and resort experience is a plus.
• Strong communication and customer service skills are expected.
• Additional language skills are advantageous; proficiency in Italian and Russian is highly preferred.
• Uniform, personal grooming, and hygiene must meet hotel standards.
