Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional guest service by greeting and seating guests, establishing rapport, and maintaining positive relationships
- Handle all guest and internal complaints and inquiries courteously and efficiently, ensuring full resolution
- Process guest bills accurately by computing charges, presenting checks, and managing payments including cash, credit cards, and refunds
- Operate Micros POS and cash register systems to record transactions, compile reports, and display purchase totals
- Verify authenticity of cash and credit cards and strictly adhere to Finance department cashiering and cash handling policies
- Record daily transactions, reconcile cash register totals against cash on hand, and report any discrepancies
- Maintain thorough knowledge of all food and beverage menu items to provide recommendations and up sell alternatives
- Ensure outlet operations meet minimum brand standards and align with Hyatt's F&B Vision, Mission, and Top 20 standards
- Assist colleagues across departments in a supportive and flexible manner to ensure overall hotel success
- Maintain high standards of personal presentation, grooming, and professional conduct at all times
- Comply with all health, hygiene, safety, and fire regulations
Requirements
- High school diploma with a minimum of 1 year of experience in a related professional area
- Proficiency in English required; spoken and written Arabic preferred
- Fully conversant with Micros POS and cash handling systems
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage offerings and upselling techniques
- Familiarity with current local and international F&B industry trends
- Detail oriented, reliable, and accountable with strong numerical accuracy
- Team player with a positive, professional, and guest focused attitude
