Description

  • The overall scope includes serving food and beverages to guests, providing courteous, professional, efficient and flexible service consistent with Kempinski’s DNA values.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible to Assistant Restaurant Manager / Restaurant Manager.
  • Report to duty punctually wearing correct uniform and maintaining high standard of personal appearance and hygiene.
  • Provide courteous, professional and efficient service at all times.
  • Perform all duties and tasks as per the outlet requirements.
  • Be knowledgeable of all services and products offered by the hotel.
  • Have thorough knowledge of all food and beverage items offered.
  • Explain and perform upselling of all items.
  • Monitor operating supplies, equipment and reduce spoilage and wastage.
  • Ensure work area is kept clean and organized.
  • Perform opening and closing procedures.
  • Handle guest enquiries and report complaints.
  • Operate POS system as trained.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of all food and beverage items.
  • Ability to operate POS system.
  • Adherence to hotel grooming standards.
  • Ability to handle guest enquiries.
