Role Description
- The Hospitality Assistant is a full time, on site role based in Dubai, supporting the daily operations of ESAW’s student residences.
- This role includes welcoming students and visitors, responding to inquiries, and providing courteous, timely assistance to ensure a positive living experience.
- The Hospitality Assistant helps coordinate check in and check out processes, supports common area cleanliness and readiness, and assists with food and beverage service during events or designated meal times.
- Additional responsibilities may include handling basic administrative tasks, reporting maintenance issues, and collaborating with the wider team to uphold safety, comfort, and service standards across the property.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact professionally with students, parents, partners, and colleagues.
- Hospitality and Food & Beverage experience to support a welcoming environment and assist with events or meal services.
- Food Service knowledge to help with preparation, presentation, and safe handling of food in accordance with hygiene standards.
- Ability to work on site in Dubai, with a flexible approach to shifts, weekends, and evening hours as needed.
- Organizational skills and attention to detail for handling multiple tasks, record keeping, and maintaining orderly spaces.
- Professional, student centered mindset, with a focus on wellbeing, safety, and cultural sensitivity in a diverse community.
- Previous experience in hospitality, student accommodation, or customer facing roles is preferred.
- Basic proficiency in English; additional languages relevant to international students are an advantage.
