Job Description
Supports efficient order fulfillment and customer service by picking, packing, and delivering company merchandise.
The role also includes retail merchandising, sales processing, payment handling, and customer assistance.
Experience
- At least 2 years of prior experience in a similar role.
- Experience in a reputable supermarket or retail environment is preferred.
Retail and Merchandising Duties
- Plan merchandising strategies and produce store layout plans.
- Maintain store shelves and inventory.
- Stay up to date with industry best practices.
Sales and Payment Duties
- Process sales using cash registers, scanners, or POS systems.
- Accept cash, bank cards, food stamps, and coupons according to company procedures.
- Issue receipts, refunds, credits, and process returns or exchanges.
- Calculate discounts, apply special offers, maintain change, and balance cash registers.
- Maintain accurate transaction records.
