The employer is seeking an experienced Cashier to communicate with customers and support checkout operations.
The role requires prior cashier experience in a reputed supermarket, accurate payment handling, and customer service.
Job Responsibilities
- Greet customers, provide assistance, answer product and payment queries, and resolve or refer complaints.
- Process sales accurately using cash registers, scanners, or other equipment.
- Accept cash, checks, and bankcards; process payments; provide change; and issue receipts.
- Calculate discounts and promotions, issue refunds and credits, and process returns and exchanges.
- Redeem food stamps and coupons and ensure sufficient change is available.
- Balance sales and receipts and maintain accurate transaction records.
- Bag, box, and wrap merchandise.
- Assist with shelf stocking, product display, pricing, cleanup, and maintaining a neat work area as required.
Requirements and Skills
- At least 2–4 years of experience in a similar role with a reputed supermarket.
- Knowledge of currency and conversion methodologies.
- Attention to detail, honesty, and reliability.
- Mathematical ability is mandatory.
- Spoken and written English language ability.
- Basic product knowledge.
Compensation
- Pay is up to AED 2,400 per month.

- Work location is in person.
