This is a contract, on-site role for a Higher Education Finance Advisor (REMOTE) The Advisor will be responsible for providing financial guidance and strategic analysis within the higher education sector.
Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing financial reports, analyzing budgets, offering cost optimization strategies, and ensuring compliance with regulatory financial standards.
The role also involves collaborating with stakeholders to develop financial plans that align with institutional goals and long-term sustainability.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Financial Analysis, Budgeting, and Financial Planning
- Knowledge of Regulatory Compliance and Higher Education Financial Reporting Standards
- Strategic Thinking and Problem-Solving Skills
- Effective Communication, Collaboration, and Presentation Abilities
- Experience working with Integrated Financial Management Systems and Software
- Prior work experience in higher education or public sector finance is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; a Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is desirable
