Responsibilities
- Diagnose complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic system failures on heavy equipment using advanced diagnostic tools
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance, including inspections, lubrication, and fluid changes
- Conduct thorough inspections to identify and document worn or damaged parts and determine necessary repairs
- Disassemble, repair, and reassemble engines, transmissions, and other major components adhering to manufacturer specifications
- Utilize welding, cutting, and fabrication skills to repair or modify equipment components
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including wiring, sensors, and control modules, using schematics and diagnostic equipment
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance performed, and parts used
