About the Role
KEO International Consultants is seeking a Health & Safety Officer to monitor and enforce safety standards on construction projects in Doha. The role requires a minimum of 10 years experience, including 5 years in GCC and 2 years relevant experience in roads, bridges, and highways.

Responsibilities
- Monitor and enforce standards of safety in compliance with KEO’s Health and Safety Management System and Client requirements
- Review and inspect work areas determining potential occurrence of safety hazards
- Observe and ensure staff on site always wear personal protective equipment and follow safety policies
- Conduct daily inspections of projects to ensure compliance and make recommendations for change
- Determine and investigate cause of accidents, establish reports, and provide recommendations to prevent future occurrences
- Develop and implement safety policies to reduce accident related costs
- Regulate set policies soliciting input from managers and workers
- Provide training to KEO staff on safety as per OSHA requirements
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years experience, 5 years in GCC, min 2 years relevant experience in roads, bridges & highways in a similar role
- HSE Certification must be in hand

Responsibilities

- During cases of emergency determining and investigating the cause of the accident, establish a report and providing recommendation(s) to prevent future occurrences.
- Developing and implementing safety policies needed to reduce accident related costs.
- Regulating set policies soliciting input from managers and workers.
- Providing training to KEO staff on safety as per OSHA requirements.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years exp, 5 years in GCC, min 2 years relevant exp Roads, bridges & highways in a similar role.
- HSE Certification must be in hand to evidence a good foundation of HSE Knowledge.
- IMPORTANT In line with Nationalisation laws in the Kingdom, Candidates of KSA Citizenship will be considered as a priority.
