Role Overview
OceanAir Travels is seeking a proactive Health & Safety Officer to ensure a safe and compliant working environment across its operations.
The role oversees HSE procedures, risk assessments, inspections, incident management, and safety awareness.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with UAE HSE regulations and company policies.
- Conduct site inspections, safety audits, and risk assessments.
- Identify hazards and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Monitor high-risk activities and ensure appropriate safety controls.
- Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, and awareness training.
- Investigate accidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions.
- Maintain HSE records, reports, and compliance documentation.
- Maintain fire safety, first aid, PPE, and emergency procedures.
- Coordinate emergency drills and evacuation procedures.
- Work with Operations, Maintenance, Security, and Management.
- Prepare regular HSE reports and support continuous safety improvement.
Requirements
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in HSE, occupational health and safety, engineering, or a related field.
- 2–3 years of relevant HSE experience.
- Knowledge of UAE HSE regulations and safety standards.
- Experience in risk assessments, inspections, audits, and incident investigations.
- Strong communication, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work proactively and independently.
Preferred Certification
- NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, or a similar certification is preferred.
Compensation
- Pay is AED 2,500–AED 3,500 per month.
Work Location
- The role is performed in person.
