Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures aligned with local regulations and company standards
- Conduct site inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits
- Investigate incidents and near misses, and recommend corrective and preventive actions
- Deliver safety training and toolbox talks
- Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment
- Maintain accurate HSE documentation and reports
- Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and management teams to continually improve safety culture and environmental performance
Requirements
- Strong expertise in Health & Safety and Workplace Safety, with practical experience in industrial, construction, or equipment hire environments
- Environment Health and Safety (EHS) and Occupational Health skills, including risk assessment, incident investigation, and hazard control
- Recognized HSE certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent
- Solid understanding of UAE HSE regulations and standards
- Skills in safety training, communication, and report writing
- Relevant academic background in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field is beneficial
- Previous experience in the heavy equipment or crane sector
- Ability to work on site, conduct field inspections, use HSE management systems, and respond promptly to urgent safety issues

Role Description
