Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections, diagnose equipment issues, and carry out corrective and preventive maintenance
- Coordinate maintenance schedules, document service activities, and work closely with operations and safety teams to minimize downtime and maintain compliance
- Support continuous improvement initiatives, recommend technical upgrades, and assist in training operators on proper equipment use and basic care
Requirements
- Strong skills in Equipment Maintenance and Maintenance Engineering, with experience in heavy equipment or crane systems
- Skills in Maintenance & Repair, including troubleshooting mechanical issues and performing corrective actions safely and efficiently
- Skills in Preventive Maintenance, including planning and executing scheduled inspections and service to reduce breakdowns
- Skills in Electrical Maintenance, including basic diagnostics and repair of electrical components and control systems
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Maintenance Engineering, or a closely related field
- Experience in construction equipment, crane hire, or industrial machinery maintenance, preferably within the UAE or GCC region
- Knowledge of safety regulations, risk assessment, and safe work practices, with a strong commitment to workplace safety
- Ability to read technical manuals and engineering drawings, and to use diagnostic tools and maintenance software
- Effective communication, teamwork, and time management skills, with the ability to work on site in a fast paced environment

Role Description
- The Equipment Maintenance Engineer is responsible for ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of construction and lifting equipment across the company’s fleet.
- This full time, on site role is based in Dubai and involves performing routine inspections, diagnosing equipment issues, and carrying out corrective and preventive maintenance.
- The role includes coordinating maintenance schedules, documenting service activities, and working closely with operations and safety teams to minimize downtime and maintain compliance with relevant standards.
- The Equipment Maintenance Engineer will also support continuous improvement initiatives, recommend technical upgrades, and assist in training operators on proper equipment use and basic care.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Equipment Maintenance and Maintenance Engineering, with experience in heavy equipment or crane systems.
- Candidates should possess skills in Maintenance & Repair, including troubleshooting mechanical issues and performing corrective actions safely and efficiently.
- Candidates should possess skills in Preventive Maintenance, including planning and executing scheduled inspections and service to reduce breakdowns.
