About the Role
A confidential company in Dubai is seeking an experienced HSE Engineer with a minimum of 12 years in the UAE/GCC region, specializing in high-rise/mid-rise building construction. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field, NEBOSH IGC certification, and in-depth knowledge of UAE HSE laws.

Responsibilities
- Implement HSE management systems and ensure compliance with UAE HSE laws and construction safety regulations.
- Conduct risk assessments, incident investigations, and corrective action planning.
- Conduct HSE training, toolbox talks, and awareness sessions.
- Prepare HSE reports and documentation.
- Liaise with consultants, clients, and regulatory authorities.
Requirements
- Minimum 12 years of experience in the UAE or GCC region in high rise/mid rise building construction
- Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field
- NEBOSH IGC certification (mandatory)
- Additional certifications like IOSH, OSHA, or Lead Auditor (ISO 45001/14001) are a plus
- Proven track record in ensuring compliance with UAE regulations and safety standards
- Excellent leadership and communication skills

Qualifications

- Ability to conduct HSE training, toolbox talks, and awareness sessions
- Strong report writing and documentation skills
- Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills
- Ability to liaise with consultants, clients, and regulatory authorities
