Health Institutions Inspector

Job Description

• Conduct routine and unannounced inspections of the licences of healthcare facilities, healthcare professionals, ambulance vehicles, and ambulance training centres, both public and private, within the Emirate of Dubai, and prepare and submit the related reports.
• Conduct routine and unannounced inspections of ambulance equipment and devices to ensure their validity and compliance with the approved technical specifications and regulations relating to ambulance vehicles.
• Inspect emergency medical service providers during events held within the Emirate of Dubai to ensure compliance with the Corporation’s approved specifications and regulations governing event medical coverage.
• Implement the prescribed procedures relating to violations resulting from non-compliance with approved standards and specifications.
• Coordinate with external entities providing ambulance services regarding inspection activities and the scheduling of inspection visits.
• Participate in the issuance of technical violation procedures against ambulance service providers, ambulance professionals, and ambulance vehicles.
• Respond to customer enquiries regarding inspection requirements and procedures, and provide emergency medical awareness and technical guidance.
• Assist in implementing monitoring procedures for professional examinations of ambulance service providers within the Emirate.
• Contribute to the preparation of statistical reports and periodic data on inspection activities relating to ambulance service providers, ambulance professionals, and ambulance vehicles.
• Comply with information security policies, procedures, operations, and programmes, and report any security breaches or suspicious incidents to the direct supervisor.
• Perform any other duties related to the functions of the section as directed through documented instructions.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Nursing or an equivalent qualification, or a General Secondary School Certificate.

Experience

• Diploma holders are not required to have prior work experience.
• Holders of a General Secondary School Certificate are required to have a minimum of two years’ experience in the relevant field. UAE nationals holding a General Secondary School Certificate are exempt from the experience requirement.
