About the Role
Independent Food Company is seeking a Head of Talent Acquisition to lead end-to-end recruitment strategy across all business functions, including restaurant operations, corporate, and leadership hiring.

- Develop and execute the annual talent acquisition strategy aligned with business objectives and expansion plans
- Build recruitment plans for existing support functions, head office, operations, new store openings, seasonal peaks, and growth initiatives
- Establish workforce forecasting processes in partnership with Operations, Finance, and HR Business Partners
- Develop talent pipelines for critical and hard to fill positions
- Drive continuous improvement in recruitment processes, tools, and candidate experience
- Customize recruitment experiences to match brands criteria, feel, and direction
- Lead recruitment activities across all restaurant brands and locations
- Manage hiring for all operations positions including restaurant managers, supervisors, cashiers, waiters, baristas, kitchen crew, chefs, and delivery roles
- Lead recruitment for Head office and all senior and executive positions including finance, HR, marketing, e commerce, digital & IT, supply chain, procurement, commercial, business development, operations excellence, learning & development, customer experience, operations management, project management, design, creative, property & leasing, VPs, Presidents, and C level
- Develop manpower mobilization plans for new store launches
- Develop and strengthen the company's employer value proposition
- Lead hiring for senior operational and corporate positions
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Psychology, or related field
- Professional certifications (CIPD, SHRM, HRCI, LinkedIn Recruiter Certification) are advantageous
- 7–10 years of progressive Talent Acquisition experience
- Minimum 3 years in a leadership role
- Experience within F&B, hospitality, retail, QSR, or multi site operations
- Proven success in high volume recruitment environments
- Experience supporting multi brand and multi location operations
- Experience in overseas and mass recruitment campaigns is preferred

Role Summary
- The Talent Acquisition Manager is responsible for leading and executing the company's end to end recruitment strategy across all business functions, including restaurant operations, central kitchen, supply chain, corporate functions, and leadership hiring.
- The role ensures the organization attracts, hires, and retains high caliber talent while supporting business growth, new store openings, succession planning, and workforce optimization.
- The position combines strategic workforce planning, employer branding, recruitment excellence, and high volume hiring capabilities to build a sustainable talent pipeline across all levels of the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the annual talent acquisition strategy aligned with business objectives and expansion plans.
- Build recruitment plans for existing support functions, head office, operations, new store openings, seasonal peaks, and growth initiatives.
- Establish workforce forecasting processes in partnership with Operations, Finance, and HR Business Partners.

- Partner with business leaders to identify talent gaps and manpower requirements across functions.
- Develop annual and quarterly hiring plans based on approved manpower budgets, expansion schedules, and business priorities.
- Monitor workforce trends, vacancy levels, and turnover patterns to proactively identify future hiring requirements.
- Contribute to organizational restructuring and organization structure revision, role design, and headcount planning exercises.
- Maintain organizational structures, job descriptions, and role profiles to support workforce effectiveness.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Psychology, or related field.
