Role Description
- The Head of Project Management is a part time, hybrid role based in Dubai, with the flexibility to work from home for part of the week.
- This role oversees the end to end delivery of programs and projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Day to day responsibilities include defining project frameworks, setting priorities, managing timelines, and coordinating cross functional teams to align on goals and deliverables.
- The Head of Project Management will review project performance, identify risks and dependencies, and implement corrective actions where necessary.
- This role also involves optimizing processes, mentoring project managers, reporting to senior leadership on portfolio progress, and supporting strategic planning for future initiatives.
Qualifications
- Strong program and project management skills, including experience overseeing multiple projects or a portfolio of initiatives.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to align teams, manage expectations, and provide clear updates to leadership.
- Proficient analytical skills to interpret data, assess project performance, manage risks, and support decision making.
- Proven team management experience, including coaching, mentoring, and developing project management talent.
- Budgeting and financial management skills to plan, track, and optimize project and program costs.
- Experience in a hybrid work environment and ability to lead distributed or cross functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, management, engineering, or a related field; an advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PgMP, PRINCE2, Agile) are an advantage.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a part time leadership capacity.
